Sentence combining using conjunctions
Designed to help pupils to join two sentences together using conjunctions. The sentences are colour coded making it easier for children at primary age or EAL learners to find the two sentences they need to combine using a conjunction. This activity is designed to help pupils identify which conjunction would be best to combine the sentences. They can justify their choice of conjunction when combining their senteces. The sentences are based on the text ‘Superworm’ by Julia Donaldson.
